Are you a puppy mill?
No Lucy and Ricky are our family pets (and the only dogs we own) who just happened to get pregnant.
Are your puppies registered?
No, we never intended to have puppies so we did not ever seek papers.
Are your puppies vaccinated/ chipped/ dew claws removed?
No. Out of respect to the many people who are now questioning vaccination and supporting the Natural Pet Movement, we do not alter our puppies in any way.
Have the parent dogs been vaccinated?
Yes. We personally believe in the benefits of vaccination as well as routine veterinary care.
Are the parent dogs kosher/ vegan/ vegetarian/ raw?
No. Our adult dogs are fed Purina Dog Chow and table scraps including meat, pork, and dairy.
Are the parent dogs related or have any genetic abnormalities?
No. Our dog parents are not related and are in perfect health with no known problems whatsoever.
Will this puppy be related to my current dog?
Maybe. Our female Lucy was bought from an individual in Oklahoma, however Ricky was bought at a mall pet store. We do not know his ancestory.
Can Boston Terriers live outside?
No. They are a brachycephalic breed that does not do well in extreme heat for more information read here. They also do not do well in cold weather due to their short coat.
Do Boston Terriers have health problems?
This is a hard question to answer. All animals will have health problems and Boston's are no exception. As to whether their health problems are those that you are willing to handle is discussed here.
Are Boston Terriers easy to train?
In our opinion yes. They respond very well to early and consistent reward and crate training. Classical punishment and dominance training in our opinion is antiquated and harmful for more information please read here.
Do you have a return policy?
Returns: Please think of adding your new puppy to the family as a PERMANENT LIFE-LONG COMMITMENT. If you are unsure of your future for the next 10-15 years, please carefully consider purchasing a puppy at this time.
I hope that all of my families are FOREVER HOMES. However, I know that some times life situations change unexpectedly. I am committed to find or provide a secure home for any puppies that I have raised, FOR LIFE.
My puppies/dogs are NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES to be given to a shelter, rescue, or animal control.
We have a 'no questions asked' return policy. The family can return the dog/puppy to us at any time. If this option is to be used, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. We will not be responsible for transportation fees for the return of the dog, but we will make reasonable arrangements to pick up the dog from any area airport if necessary.
